Job Description
As a QSR Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining, building, and scaling digital
and operational products within a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) environment. You will own
the product vision and roadmap, working closely with operations, engineering, design, data,
vendors, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that improve outlet efficiency, customer
experience, and business performance.
This role focuses on product discovery, prioritization, and lifecycle management across
POS systems, operational applications, integrations, and digital platforms that support QSR
growth.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Ownership
● Own the end-to-end product lifecycle: discovery, definition, delivery, launch, and iteration
● Define product vision, goals, success metrics, and long-term roadmap aligned with QSR
business objectives
● Prioritize features and initiatives based on customer impact, operational efficiency, and
business value
Product Discovery & Requirements
● Deeply understand QSR operational workflows (ordering, kitchen, payment, inventory,
delivery)
● Translate outlet and business needs into clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance
criteria
● Conduct stakeholder interviews, outlet observations, and data analysis to validate
problems and solutions
Execution & Delivery
● Work closely with engineering, QA, UI/UX, and operations to deliver product initiatives
● Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release planning
● Coordinate system implementations and integrations (POS, payments, loyalty, inventory,
ERP, delivery platforms)
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
● Act as the key product liaison between business, IT, operations, and external vendors
● Align internal teams and vendors on product scope, timelines, and expected outcomes
● Communicate product progress, risks, and impact to management
Launch & Optimization
● Oversee UAT, rollout strategy, and post-launch monitoring
● Measure product performance using defined KPIs and continuously improve based on
insights
● Support change management and adoption across outlets
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Management, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a
related field
● 3–5 years of experience as a Product Manager (or Project Manager transitioning to
Product)
● Experience in SaaS QSR, F&B, retail, or hospitality industries is a strong advantage
Technical Competencies
● Strong understanding of QSR operations and outlet processes
● Experience working with POS systems, payment gateways, and API-based integrations
● Proficient in writing PRDs, defining roadmaps, and managing product backlogs
● Familiar with Agile/Scrum product development practices
● Ability to use data to support prioritization and decision-making
Soft Skills
● Excellent communication skills to bridge business, operations, and technical teams
● Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
● Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
● Strong stakeholder management and influence without authority
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience rolling out products across multiple outlets or regions
● Hands-on experience integrating with delivery platforms (GrabFood, GoFood, etc.)
● Experience driving QSR digital transformation initiatives
● Product or Agile certifications (CSPO, Scrum, or equivalent)
