SOC - L1

Qualification :

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in SOC, Security Monitoring, IT Security, NOC/SOC, or a related cybersecurity environment.
• Experience working in a 24/7 SOC or shift-based operational environment.
• Fresh graduate welcome to apply with SOC internship experience
• Familiarity with SIEM concepts and security event monitoring.
• Experience with at least one SIEM/security monitoring platform
• Basic understanding of Networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, Firewall, Windows/Linux security events and logs, Authentication and access logs, Endpoint security/EDR concepts, Common cybersecurity threats and attack techniques, Incident classification and escalation
• Able to perform initial log and alert analysis and identify suspicious activities.
• Understanding of common security indicators such as IP addresses, domains, URLs, hashes, usernames, ports, and event IDs.
• Able to distinguish true positive vs. false positive alerts.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Able to work under SLA and follow established SOPs.
• Willing to work 24/7 rotating shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
