Requirement:

• Strong fundamentals in QA principles are required.

• Familiar with agile methodology.

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

• Experience with test automation, proficiency in Playwright is a strong advantage.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience

• Background in the insurance industry is mandatory.

• Hybrid working arrangement in accordance with Manulife’s policy

Key Accountabilities

- Lead testing support from small enhancements to large divisional projects following Agile processes

- Build and maintain client relationships across portfolio within BU and QA Services, including Global Resources

- Review project deliverables, including requirements, specifications & design docs, to ensure quality and completeness

- Create and/or provide input into project estimates and test schedules

- Create and execute test plans, scenarios and cases

- Apply risk based testing techniques

- Assist Agile team with complex problems regarding testing approaches, application knowledge, and technical knowledge

- Represent QA in sprint planning and daily stand ups

- Create regular status reporting to track test planning, execution and completion activities

- Adherence to audit requirements, QAS processes & procedure

- Review and understand code changes to assess impact to the test environment

- Communicate the ongoing progress of the projects testing effort to the product owner

- Conduct status reviews with team members and communicate test progress, results, status and risks to key stakeholders

- Investigate and implement testing related process improvements and participate in post implementation walkthroughs

- Collaborate with geographically and culturally diverse cross-functional teams

Qualifications External Knowledge & Skills

- Salesforce expertise- Sound knowledge of quality assurance practices, tools and techniques

- Strong organizational and planning skills

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills

- Partnering and collaborating for win-win solutions

- Risk management and/or risk based testing experience

- Ability to identify productivity and efficiency improvements

- Effective facilitation and presentation skills

- Previous experience with automation

- Education/Certifications and Experience

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent

- Previous Salesforce experience as well as testing interactive web application
