Software Product Development Lead - Jakarta

A. Requirements

1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 2–3 years of experience as a Team Lead or in a Senior Technical role.
3. Proven experience in Enterprise Application or Core System Product development.
4. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Architecture, Software Design Patterns, API Integration, Database Design, Code Review, Unit Testing, Performance, Security, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
5. Ability to lead technical teams, manage sprints, perform effort estimation, control technical risks, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
6. Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, technical mentoring, and continuous improvement skills.
7. Familiarity with AI-assisted Development Tools, CI/CD, Project Management Tools (Jira/Azure DevOps), Git, SonarQube, and Automated Testing Frameworks.

B. Job Description

1. Engineering Standards & Governance: Develop, maintain, and ensure the implementation of SOPs, engineering guidelines, coding standards, and software development standards.
2. Technical Planning & Prioritization: Define the priorities for the technical backlog, sprint scope, release plan, and technical timeline in alignment with the Product Roadmap.
3. Technical Approval: Review and provide approval for the Technical Design and Test Scenarios prepared by the System Analyst (SA).
4. Technical Solution Ownership: Define the technical approach and solution implementation for the product areas under responsibility, in accordance with the established Architecture Guidelines.
5. Release Governance: Have the authority to delay or hold a release if the deliverables do not meet the defined Definition of Done (DoD), quality gates, or established engineering standards.
6. Technical Escalation: Escalate strategic and critical technical issues to the Head of Product Development.
7. Resource & Technology Improvement: Propose resource requirements, technical improvements, automation initiatives, and AI adoption to enhance team quality, efficiency, and productivity.
