SAP ABAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Extend Fiori Applications: Design, develop, and maintain SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and other relevant technologies on the BTP platform.
• Create and Manage OData Services: Build and manage OData services to expose data from backend systems to Fiori applications and other consumers.
• ABAP Development: Develop and maintain backend components using Core ABAP and HANA ABAP, including custom enhancements and solutions for business requirements.
• Integration with BTP: Integrate applications with SAP BTP services, leveraging its capabilities for extensibility, automation, and advanced functionalities.
• Solution Design and Architecture: Participate in the design and documentation of SAP BTP solutions, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practices.
• Troubleshooting and Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve technical issues, optimize performance, and ensure high availability of SAP applications.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business analysts, functional teams, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• SAP ABAP: Strong experience in ABAP programming, including object-oriented ABAP (OOABAP) and ABAP on HANA.
• Fiori/SAPUI5: Proven experience in developing and extending SAP Fiori applications.
• OData: Solid understanding and experience with OData service development.
• SAP BTP: Familiarity with SAP BTP services, such as Cloud Foundry, Integration Suite, and ABAP Environment.
• Integration: Experience with integrating SAP systems with other systems using various technologies.
• Problem-solving and Debugging: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is often desirable.
• SAP Certification: SAP certifications in ABAP for SAP HANA or SAP BTP ABAP Development are often considered a plus.
