Job Title: Business Development Manager [Cloud Industry]
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented individual to join our team as Business Development Manager to lead our sales team and drive growth across our cloud and observability services. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in selling APM tools or cloud-based solutions, and will play a key role in driving the adoption of cloud services, building strategic partnerships, and contributing to the overall growth of our cloud business.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities for cloud and observability services in various industries
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities
• Generate leads through targeted outreach, networking, and collaboration with marketing teams
• Convert leads into successful business relationships by showcasing the value of our cloud and observability solutions • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including cloud service providers, technology partners, and industry influencers
• Collaborate with partners to create joint value propositions and drive mutual success
• Engage with potential clients to understand their business challenges and goals
• Provide consultative guidance on how our cloud solutions can address their specific needs
• Manage the sales pipeline effectively, from lead genera on to deal closure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of cloud & observability solutions
• Develop in-depth knowledge of our cloud products, observability and services
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to clients and partners
• Generate reports and data for sales analysis
• Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
• Lead and develop a high-performing sales team
• Manage the entire sales process from lead genera on to closing
• Understand client needs and tailor observability and cloud solutions accordingly
• Represent the company in client meetings, events, and industry engagements
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field
• 5+ years experience in enterprise sales or business development, preferably in cloud, SaaS, or APM (observability) solutions
• sales record working with or selling tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, Splunk, or similar
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies and platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP
• Demonstrated experience in long-cycle sales (3–9+ months), stakeholder alignment, and solution-based selling
• Strong business acumen and ability to handle consultative selling to technical and non technical stakeholders
• to manage and report pipeline, forecasts, and strategic accounts using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot)
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English
