SAP FI

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional requirements.
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and business process reviews to gather and document specifications.
  • Analyze and map business processes to SAP functionalities.
• System Configuration and Customization:
  • Configure the SAP FI module (including sub-modules like AP, AR, and Asset Accounting) based on business requirements and best practices.
  • Develop functional specifications for customizations and enhancements.
  • Customize and configure SAP FI modules to align with specific business needs.
• Solution Design and Implementation:
  • Design end-to-end solutions within the SAP landscape, considering integration points with other modules.
  • Develop test strategies, plans, and scripts, and perform functional testing.
  • Support the implementation and rollout of SAP FI solutions.
• Support and Maintenance:
  • Provide ongoing support for the SAP FI module, including troubleshooting issues and resolving tickets.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement processes for operational efficiency.
  • Document system configurations, customizations, and user procedures.
• Integration and Collaboration:
  • Work with technical consultants and other teams to ensure seamless integration of the SAP FI module with other systems.
  • Collaborate with different teams and IT partners across various locations to provide services to clients.
• Training and Documentation:
  • Train users on how to effectively use the SAP FI module.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to the SAP FI module.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Information Systems).
• Relevant experience in SAP FI module, typically 3-7 years or more.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and business processes.
• Experience with SAP configuration, customization, and implementation.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Certification in SAP FI (desirable).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA (increasingly important).
