Software Developer - Insurance Industry

Target On Board : ASAP/ 3rd week of July

2 rounds of interview. On the spot coding test.

Requirement :

• Minimum 2 - 4 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong expertise in Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Expert in at least one Python framework:
  • FastAPI
  • Flask
• Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and ORM frameworks (SQLAlchemy preferred).
• Experience with Docker and containerized application deployment.
• Good understanding of software design patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong understanding of Linux environments.
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with Redis, RabbitMQ, or Apache Kafka.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience designing and building distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience building AI/GenAI applications.
• Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.
• Experience working with OpenAI or Azure OpenAI services.
• Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and AI Agent architectures.
• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, or Azure AI Search.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and high-quality code following best practices.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Frontend, DevOps, Data, and Product teams.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application performance issues.
• Implement automated testing and ensure application reliability.
• Participate in architecture design and technical decision-making.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and maintainability.
